They didn't give me my full refund of my deposit when I did nothing to that room. I used it mostly to sleep in those 2 nights I stayed in. When I called about it they said I should wait, that the charge was still pending and it wouldn't be processed but it did, then the 2nd time I called they said I should wait more days, they couldn't do anything more about it but they fixed nothing, took almost 300 dollars and gave me back 100? And I don't know why they didn't refund me full. Also they didn't clean my room. At the end it was like paying double what I already booked and paid through expedia. I love the location but I wouldn't stay with them again, it's abusive what they did.

This hotel is located in a beautiful historic building in downtown Atlanta. The style of the old building is maintained throughout the hotel with a large atrium and industrial windows. The rooms are small but clean and functional. All basic amenities available (including ironing board). Internet worked well. Reasonably priced. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was more basic than at other Hampton Inns. Easy walk from the Peachcenter metro station. Downtown neighborhood can be sketchy, but the hotel cannot be blamed for that.

Where do I begin???? Our FAVORITE place to stay even when the events are at different location!!! What makes this place so special is the STAFF!!!! The first time we stayed here in Jan 2024, we were greeted by Mr. John and he made sure we were taken care of. He patiently answered questions about navigating the area. His personality is warm and welcoming. Mr. John is definitely customer service focused. Ms. Victoria, Ms. Carolyn, and the other ladies in the breakfast area are miracle workers! They run it like a well-oiled machine. The food is fresh and they quickly assist with operating the waffle maker and anything patrons may need. The breakfast options and hours are a definite plus. Ms. Kenya at the front desk during the day provides outstanding customer service and treats us like family. We were in town for a dance competition and she stated with certainty that my daughter would do great and indeed she did! I appreciated that positivity! Ms. Ashaki was so sweet to help me locate a restaurant because she saw that I was going in the wrong direction. lol Mr. Omar quickly resolved the television issue because a previous patron didn't reconnect things properly. He also provided historical information about the hotel. The suites are spacious and CLEAN! The building is historic and solidly built. We are actually here now in Feb 2024 for another competition in a different hotel but came back here because of the STAFF! Mr. John, Ms. Kenya, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Carolyn, Ms. Ashaki, and the outstanding housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast staff should definitely be recognized for providing SUPERB customer service! I was sad to learn that Mr. Omar was no longer here. The ATM is no longer in the hotel as well. I'm not sure why it was removed. I hope Hilton / Hampton leadership recognizes this staff because they definitely set the bar high!

I want to say my experience at this hotel was excellent. Ms. Victoria (kitchen), Erin(kitchen), Victor(front counter) and Kenya(front counter. They were nice and very professional. They assisted me with everything I needed. They made me feel like I was at home. The breakfast was awesome. Everything was nothing but great. I will be back again.

Wet urine mattress

We checked in December 27th. My family and I arrived late and kids were exhausted. My daughter got in one of the two Queen size beds and noticed the mattress was wet. We figured the mattress topper was put on while still damp from being washed. After further investigation, the wet area had a strong urine smell. I went down Immediately to the front desk because the phone in the room was not working. The front desk attendant was extremely embarrassed, but the hotel was completely full due to the Peach Bowl so they could not move us to another room. We flipped the mattress over and after changing the linens I slept on the urine stained mattress so my family did not have to and so nobody had to sleep on the floor. The next morning after breakfast I stopped at the front desk to speak to the general manager Chris Boykin. He was able to move us to another room and offered to add enough Hilton honors points to my Hilton account to make up for the previous nights stay. I waited several days to see if the points had been added, but no points were added. I called and left 2 voicemails and also send two emails to Chris Boykin and have yet to get a call or email back. It's a shame I couldn't get a reply after such a poor experience.
